So I’m not really sure why I forgot to mention this in my last post…but apparently I’m a baby saver and no one cares.  I went over to Joe’s niece’s birthday part on Saturday…she turned one.  Anyways everyone was hanging out by the pool…well not everyone but I was and we had some babies with us at the steps so they were tall enough to stand.  So one of the babies decided to take one step too far and ended up going under and natural instinct kicked in and I went in and grabbed him…yes with all my clothes on.  Here’s the real kicker cell phone = in pocket = bad.  Grant it I probably had enough time to take my cell phone out of my pocket before getting in but I didn’t think about anything else except to go in.  And if you think breaking my cell phone was bad here’s the worst part of it at all.  I bring the kid back up and the parents told me I didn’t have to do that and he would have been fine.  WHAT?!  He was probably at oldest one…2 feet tall at the most in a 3 ft pool completly underwater.  Yes I got him in probably less than 3 seconds, but I don’t know of too many babies who go under water without some kind of panic setting in meaning his heart rate increased (and if you know about the heart rate of babies compared to adults it’s already much higher)…the higher heart rate and adrenaline rush means you need more oxygen meaning you need to breath…and what happens when you breathe underwater?  You drown…no bueno.  So basically I lost a cellphone with no gratitude at least from the parents.  Anyways after that incident the party was pretty fun ended up going in the pool myself with the older (by older I mean like 8 year olds) and did the whole big brother like thing with Joe doing monkey fights and races and all that fun stuff.  Kinda made me realize that I need to start swimming again because just from that stuff it was a huge workout.  Okay enough about the weekend two exams today whew!  Neither one of them were bad at all though pretty easy.

Not much happened this weekend…I did some work and studied a lot because I have two exams tomorrow.  Me, Joe, and Kendra went to go see wanted last night it was pretty awesome…make me want a viper…I don’t even care about the crappy gas milage a 8L V-10 gets …Then again if I had the money to get a Viper I wouldn’t care about gas mileage either.  Anyways see ya

Bed…I’ve determined that getting a new mattress is much more practical than getting a car right now…I simply don’t have the money to support a new car let alone make the initial purchase…then after that I have about $150 in insurance every month and then with gas…even a car that gets 35 MPG is going to suck to own.  I can live on the bus it just sucks and Joe might let me “rent” out his car for $100 a month but that’s still no good because his car gets like 12 MPG and the insurance is $160 a month which is probably a little too much or me…Anyone know of a great mattress…I’m looking to spend a couple hundred dolalrs on something good versus my current mattress which was like 50 and is the biggest p.o.s I own in my house

So I’ve determined that I’m Superman because I was in class all super tired and then I walked out in the sun and felt fine…weird?

So besides the fact that Joe just scared the hell out of me because he decided not to goto work today and I’m sitting here working on Kendra’s computer that he asks me if I want a ride to school later and I thought he wasn’t here and I was the only person here .  Anyways this sleep thing is getting out of hand but I can’t decide what’s more important getting a car or getting a bed.  Last night I woke up 4 times every time I woke up I had a really sore back which is definatly no bueno, but on the flip side I’m still extremly annoyed with taking the bus everyday so it’s a toss up between the two right now.  On a positive note Ellie is as cute as ever and she is trying to get into less trouble but the spaghetti Kendra left on the table that is Ellie’s height was a little too tempting…I wasn’t mad at her though because who can blame her…after all would you want to eat dry dog food day in and day out?  Didn’t think so.

So I couldn’t find my wallet this morning so I was going to have my roommate Tom drop me off but I found my wallet and decided to take the bus so he didn’t have to go out of his way.  So I leave the house at 10:00 and my class is at 11:20 plenty of time right?  No I get to class EXACTLY at 11:20.  I’m so sick of this crappy bus system so I’m just going to buy a crappy car…hopefully with a/c for like $600 or so.  I’m going to set up a paypal account for donations anything is greatly appreciated…haha no I’m joking but if anyone knows of anyone selling anything for cheap let me know

So I’m not just making dinner tonight…I’m making corned beef…yes I said it corned beef.  It already smells so fricken good in this house and I only started it 20 minutes ago…thats the shitty thing about corned beef though is that it takes FOREVER to cook.  I also got everything else to go with it…potatoes, carrots, sauerkraut.  The smell is driving me nuts though! I might have to goto the store just to get away from the smell.  

So last night we made dinner, we made stir fry with teriyaki sauce that I made from scratch it was so good.  Nathan game over for dinner with us and he brought key lime pie which was so good even though it was just the frozen Sarah Lee stuff.  So after dinner we had a few drinks minus Nathan because he drove and we went over to the movie theater and saw the Incredible Hulk.  That movie was awesome by the way the way it ended was so good it made me so excited for the next one, or what is coming next.  Today I’m probably just going to be hanging around the house then going out to the mall and who knows what I will end up getting.  See ya

So hopefully will be a good night compared to an eh day.  Nathan is coming over for dinner then me, Joe, Kendra, and Nathan are going to go and see The Incredible Hulk tonight.  I’m really excited about both because I’m going to attempt to make my own teriyaki sauce from scratch so that will be fun!  We’re going to be having a stir fry with pork and various vegetables.  Other than that nothing really has been going on except for school and work maybe this weekend will bring more interesting things.  Anyways till later yo.

So I’ve started to realize my sleeping has gotten more sporadic and is becoming much and much less per night.  I think it’s due to my bed which is incredibly crappy.  I’ve come to this conclusion because when I stay at my mom’s house in chicago I sleep just fine…in fact I over sleep which NEVER happens here in Phoenix.  I’m going to be looking for mattresses possibly when I move in December or earlier if I can’t get a better sleep because it’s just tearing me down right now.  I’m looking to spend a little more on a mattress probably two or three hundred dollars or so.  So if you guys have any good suggestions for a good mattress let me know because the one I have now just isn’t cutting it
